Causes of Weakness and Strength

The secret of strength does not lie in the muscles alone.

Strength signifies well coordinated functions of all living cells and systems of the body.

Not only the heart has to be able to accommodate the demands of strongly active muscles, but also the cells of the muscles, as well as those of the entire body, have to perform their metabolic functions to their best to utilize the delivered blood nutrients and to return their metabolites to the venous blood.

Thus strength does not show up as soon as we get started in exercising.  It would however develop as we stick to good habits.  Strength is a culmination of many activities in the body to tweak up its performance towards higher efficacy.

Weakness leads to injury.  And the vicious circuit of injury, rest, wasting. and weakness continues unless we get started in exercise.
