Home ] Up ] The Dynamics of Verteberal Column in Lifting ] Lower Back Lateral support ]

Legs Warm Up (Asymmetric)

No weights involved !! No gym involved !!

No equipments of any kind needed !!

Building massive quadriceps (thigh) muscles is that simple.

Asymmetry (uneven load on the legs) accomplishes lateral (from side to side) bending of the vertebral column.  This lateral bending guarantee strong lower back on twisting.

As you descend on one leg the head leans to that side of the leg to keep balance. The lower back has to contract harder on the side.  This strengthen the lateral back support while squatting.

Why do we have to go through this lateral stuff??
