Finishing The Deadlift

Finishing the deadlift might be the most dangerous phase of the lift. 

Any underestimation or softening of the back would result in serious back injury.  

Until the bar rests freely on the floor you should not relax the major muscular groups.

Many injuries are incurred in that final phase.
